Project Progress 2015 Two Years Work In Just Two Minutes

The New NY Bridge project has made extraordinary progress since construction operations began in 2013. Now with steel-reinforced foundations and concrete piers in place, the project continues to move forward with the installation of enormous steel-blue girders that will support the road deck on the new twin-span bridge. You can see more than two years of work for yourself in just two minutes in this Project Progress time lapse video.

Those interested in a closer look are invited to view the daily project progress via the project’s webcams and photo gallery as well as by visiting the New NY Bridge construction viewing platform at Scenic Hudson RiverWalk in Tarrytown. Later this summer, a second viewing platform across the Hudson River at Nyack Memorial Park will be installed once the village’s new fishing pier is complete.
