Tappan Zee Constructors (TZC) is scheduled to realign the barrier near the Westchester landing tomorrow, requiring a single-lane closure on the northbound New York State Thruway (I-87/I-287).
TZC is also scheduled to continue work on the eastbound span roadway this week, requiring a single-lane closure on the southbound Thruway beginning near exit 11 (Nyack – South Nyack – US Route 9W) and extending across the new bridge on Wednesday, June 27.
Additionally, the Thruway Authority plans to conduct electronic equipment testing on Wednesday, June 27, and Thursday, June 28. The work requires single-lane closures on the northbound Thruway beginning near exit 9 (Tarrytown – Sleepy Hollow – US Route 9) and extending across the new bridge.
