Work near the Westchester County landing will require the use of a mobile crane in the median separating the New York State Thruway’s (I-87/I-287) northbound and southbound traffic lanes. Tappan Zee Constructors will move the crane to the median during the early morning hours of Tuesday, July 18, requiring a single traffic stop at approximately 4 a.m. The traffic stop, to be conducted by New York State Police, of the four southbound/eastbound Thruway lanes near exit 10 (Nyack – South Nyack – US Route 9W) is expected to last up to 10 minutes.
