Gawkers Invited! Westchester Construction Viewing Platform Now Open; Rockland Platform Coming Soon

ViewingPlatform

Those keen on observing firsthand the progress of the New NY Bridge project are invited to the recently-opened Westchester viewing platform in Tarrytown’s Scenic Hudson RiverWalk Park. Located near the Tarrytown Senior Center at 240 West Main Street, the easy-to-access platform provides an unobstructed view of the project site. The platform is equipped with informational panels – including a spotter’s guide that identifies the various types of construction equipment and vessels located on the water – and viewing scopes to get up close views of the action.

Shortly, these same amenities will also be available across the river. Nyack will host the Rockland viewing platform on the village’s soon-to-be-complete fishing pier at Memorial Park.

Can’t make it in person? The project’s day-to-day progress can also be tracked from the comfort of your own home, thanks to cameras situated around the project site. Click construction cams on NewNYBridge.com to see panoramic and close up views.
