The project gallery features a new selection of aerial photography, highlighting progress on the new eastbound span, as well as dismantling efforts on the old bridge.
The project’s largest crane, dubbed I Lift NY, assisted with both operations. The machine recently completed its final construction activity by installing steel girder assemblies at the eastbound span’s Westchester approach.
The super crane is scheduled to resume working on the dismantling of the old bridge next week.
