Observing Another Year of Progress Project Webcams Capture Construction Efforts

Tappan Zee Constructors, LLC has mobilized thousands of workers and a vast array of equipment to enable the remarkable progress being made on the New NY Bridge project site. Throughout it all, the project’s construction webcams have been dutifully capturing the massive effort.

The past year’s major advances in foundation work and key support structures—including the enormous steel-blue girder assemblies stretching across the Hudson River—can be seen in the above slideshow.

Next year, the webcams will witness the project’s eight main span towers—currently at or below 100 feet—shoot skyward towards their full 419-foot height.

Those interested in watching construction history in the making are invited to view the daily progress via the webcams and photo gallery on the project website as well as by visiting the project’s construction viewing platforms at Scenic Hudson RiverWalk Park in Tarrytown or at Memorial Park in Nyack.
