Presidential Visit from Barack Obama

TARRYTOWN – With the Tappan Zee Bridge and the New NY Bridge project site in the background, President Obama stood by the Hudson River on Wednesday to make a push for funding transportation infrastructure. The Highway Trust Fund is projected to be insolvent by the fall, and the President is calling on Congress to pass a transportation bill that would protect hundreds of thousands of jobs, and fund vital infrastructure projects across the country. Governor Andrew Cuomo, who introduced the President at the event, has been instrumental in moving the New NY Bridge project forward.
